Brim of Your Hat
We are tipping our hats to this beautiful maple bowl.
This bowl has a bit of a oval shape and as you will see in the picture, the rim is actually a little warped!
This bowl measures 11 3/4"” diameter x 2.3/4” tall.
“Once turned” bowls are turned green, wood with a high moisture content. After being turned on the lathe, the bowl is placed to continue to dry. As the remaining moisture leaves the wood, the bowl can warp giving it a one-of-a-kind, unique appearance.
